How to Connect Your WhatsApp Business Account on ChatFlow

Overview

To start sending messages and running campaigns on ChatFlow, you first need to connect your WhatsApp Business API account. ChatFlow supports two onboarding methods: Manual Onboarding and Embedded Signup.

Visit your dashboard at: https://chatflow.prasads.co.in

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:
- A verified Meta (Facebook) Business Account
- A WhatsApp Business API account (approved by Meta)
- A dedicated phone number for WhatsApp Business API (this number cannot be used on the standard WhatsApp mobile app)

Method 1: Manual Onboarding

If your platform administrator has enabled Manual Onboarding:

1. Log in to your ChatFlow dashboard at https://chatflow.prasads.co.in
2. Navigate to WhatsApp Settings or the Onboarding section
3. Enter your WhatsApp Business API credentials manually:
   - Phone Number ID
   - WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID)
   - Access Token
4. Save your settings
5. Once saved, your WhatsApp number will show as Connected

Method 2: Embedded Signup (Recommended)

If your platform supports Embedded Signup, you can connect your WhatsApp account directly through a guided Meta flow:

1. Log in to your ChatFlow dashboard at https://chatflow.prasads.co.in
2. Go to WhatsApp Settings or Onboarding
3. Click Connect via WhatsApp / Get Started
4. A Meta popup will appear — log in with your Facebook/Meta account
5. Follow the steps to:
   - Select or create your Meta Business Account
   - Create or link your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)
   - Add and verify your phone number
6. Once complete, your WhatsApp number will be connected and active

Verifying Your Connection

After connecting:
- Your WhatsApp number status should show as Active or Connected in the ChatFlow dashboard
- Send a test message to verify everything is working correctly

Troubleshooting

- If the connection fails, double-check your API credentials or retry the Embedded Signup flow
- Ensure your Meta Business Account is verified and WhatsApp API access has been approved
- For Manual Onboarding issues, verify that your Access Token has not expired
